This year long project is to encourage sustainable income generation for women and thus families in the village of Agome Yoh. Approximately 20 women have received a 5 day course on the production of products from locally grown palm nuts as well as the related business skills for a communal enterprise. Equipment has been purchased as well as initial purchase of palm nuts to allow to start. The women will be followed and supported over the course of the year to try and ensure that this revenue stream will be sustainable in the future. To view the training course report click here.
